  13. SYMPTOM:
  14.    On a system with a Micropolis SCSI 1 gig hard disk, you get
  15.    the "system cannot find the file KBD01.SYS. This driver
  16.    program or data file is not located in the default path or the
  17.    path specified for it not in the config.sys file. Install this
  18.    file in the correct directory or the appropriate config.sys
  19.    file statement."  When you check the CONFIG.SYS, the correct
  20.    statements are there and the file is located in the correct
  21.    place on the hard disk.

  23. RESOLUTION:

  25.    Disable the "Read ahead cache" on the Micropolis Drive.
  26.    A utility on the Micropolis BBS called UTIL.EXE lets you
  27.    disable the "Read ahead cache" on the Micropolis 1 GB Drive
  28.    Model 2112.
