  8.  Statement in the CONFIG.SYS for SCSI's is as follows:

  12.  NOTE: The driver should be in the \OS2 subdirectory \OS2.
  13.  
  14. Not all of the products listed have been tested by IBM.  Many
  15. have been tested by the respective hardware vendors or a third
  16. party.
  17.  
  18. Many of the products listed require device drivers that are not
  19. included with OS/2.  Availbility and support of the drivers is
  20. through the hardware vendor or a third party.
  21.  
  22. Presence on this list does not necessarily mean that the product
  23. is compatible with OS/2 in your system configuration.  When in
  24. doubt, seek additional information from your dealer or the
  25. appropriate vendor.

  140.  1. For the Adaptec 1542B SCSI adapter to run properly, set the default
  141.     data rate to 5.
  142.  
  143. 2. The Adaptec 6360 chip is sometimes included with soundcards
  144.    that have scsi-2 support.  For this adapter use the latest
  145.    AHA152X.ADD from the Adaptec bbs.
  146.  
  147. 3. For some DTC adapters, special firmware can be ordered from
  148.    DTC for full support.
  149.  
  150. 4. Early versions of the IBM 16-bit SCSI adapters might
  151.    experience problems and report, erroneously, that the device
  152.    is not functioning.  This can be corrected by replacing the
  153.    SCSI adapter with updated microcode.
  154.  
  155. 5. The IBMINT13.I13 driver supports a hard disk drive but cannot
  156.    be used to support a CD-ROM drive.  Acquire an OS/2 adapter
  157.    device driver from the manufacturer of the adapter to support
  158.    your CD-ROM drive.
