- Making the Boot Manager Startable:
-
- If you installed the Boot Manager partition but the Boot Manager
- startup menu does not appear when you start the system, you need
- to make the Boot Manager partition startable:
-
- 1. Insert the OS/2 Installation Diskette into drive A.
-
- 2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart the system.
-
- 3. When prompted, remove the Installation Diskette, insert
- Diskette 1 and press Enter.

- 4. When the Welcome screen appears, remove the diskette from
- drive A.

- 5. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart the system.

- If this does not work:
- ----------------------------------------------------------------

- 1. Delete the existing partition, after backing the partition up.

- a. Press Enter to display the Options menu.
- b. Select Delete Partition and press Enter.

- 2. Create the Boot Manager partition and install the Boot
- Manager:

- a. Press Enter to display the Options menu.
- b. Select Install Boot Manager and press Enter.
- c. Select Create a Start of Free Space and press Enter

- Boot Manager should now be startable.
