  11. SYMPTOMS:
  12.  
  13. When trying to do a selective install using the 2.1 GA diskettes
  14. after XR06200 is applied, you receive wrong unpack version error
  15. messages.
  16.  
  17. RESOLUTION:
  18.  
  19. Copy the unpack file from the GA diskettes to the OS/2 directory
  20. and use the unpack file from the 2.11 and the 2.1 GA versions.
  21.  
  22. PROCEDURES:
  23.  
  24. 1.  Open an OS/2 session and go to the OS/2 directory.
  25.  
  26. 2.  Rename the 2.11 UNPACK2.EXE to another name.
  27.  
  28. 3.  Copy the OS/2 2.1 UNPACK from diskette 2 to the OS/2
  29.     directory.
  30.  
  31. 4.  Make two copies of this file.  One named UNPACK.EXE and the
  32.     other UNPACK2.EXE.
  33.  
  34. 5.  Perform selective install.  OS/2 2.11 calls for both UNPACK
  35.     and UNPACK2 files from OS/2 2.1 GA.
  36.  
  37. 6.  Rename the UNPACK2 file that you copied from the GA version.
  38.  
  39. 7.  Rename the original UNPACK2 from 2.11 in step 2 back to
  40.     UNPACK2.EXE.
  41.  
  42. 8.  Reinstall the service pak from diskettes.
