  12. SYMPTOMS:
  13.  
  14. Windows 3.1 is installed from a CD-ROM.  While installing
  15. OS/2 2.1 for Windows, OS/2 asks for the Windows diskettes, but is
  16. treating the images on the CD as 5.25 inch images, where there
  17. are 7 diskettes.  There is no 7th image on the CD.

  20. RESOLUTION:
  21.     You need to obtain a diskette 7, or "fake" out the
  22.     installation program.
  23.  
  24. PROCEDURES:
  25.     There are 3 possible resolutions:
  26.  
  27.       1.  Obtain a Windows 5.25 inch diskette 7.
  28.  
  29.       2.  Install Windows 3.1 from diskettes and use the
  30.           diskettes during OS/2 for Windows installation.
  31.  
  32.       3.  Create a "fake" diskette 7.
  33.           A.  Format a blank 5.25 inch diskette.
  34.           B.  Make a DISKCOPY of the CD Image of Diskette 6 on
  35.               the blank 5.25 inch diskette.
  36.           C.  Use the LABEL program in DOS to label the 5.25
  37.               Diskette 6 as DISK7. At a DOS prompt:
  38.                      Type:   A:      and press Enter
  39.                      Type:   Label   and press Enter
  40.                      Type:   DISK7   and press Enter
  41.               Use this diskette when the installation program
  42.               asks for diskette 7.
