  11. SYMTOMS: Requirements for running OS/2 on a Novell Netware
  12.          Network.
  13.  
  14. RESOLUTION:  There are two supported versions of the requester,
  15.              plus several patches (NSDs) available:
  16.               -  OS/2 Requester 1.3 is for OS/2 version 1.3 and
  17.                  requires at least NSD103 or NSD104.
  18.               -  OS/2 Requester 2.10 is for OS/2 version 2.x.

  20.      Novell supports OS/2 2.x with requester V2.10.
  21.      You should apply the latest Netware requester version
  22.      2.10.  You can download the latest requester from:

  28.      The file names are:  OS2DC1.EXE, OS2UT1.EXE, WSDRV1.EXE,
  29.      WSOS21.EXE, and WSOS22.EXE.
  30.      Each file is a self-extracting zip file that should be
  31.      unpacked, one file per diskette.  For example, type:
  32.                     WSOS21 -d a:

  34.      OS/2 2.0 and 2.1 can have many problems if you are using an
  35.      old requester.  You can tell which requester is running by
  36.      looking at the \NETWARE\VIPX.SYS file, dated 4/8/94 for
  37.      requester version 2.10.

  39.      If there is not a Netware server with global directory
  40.      services on the LAN, add the line  " DIRECTORY SERVICES OFF"
  41.      to the NET.CFG file - the line must start with at least one
  42.      space.
