  11. You need the following for installation:
  12.  
  13. 1. The switch settings on the interface card.  Refer to your
  14.    CD-ROM manual.
  15. 2. The Diskette with the ISACDOS2.ADD driver.
  16. 3. The OS/2 diskettes or the CD-ROM installation package.

  19. PROCEDURES:

  21. Installing OS/2 2.1 FROM THE IBM ISA CD-ROM
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------
  23.  
  24.        1. Make a diskcopy of OS/2 DISK1.
  25.  
  26.        2. Edit the CONFIG.SYS and add the device driver line.
  27.  
  28.        BASEDEV=ISACDOS2.ADD /M:xxx
  29.        Where xxx is the hex address set on the switches.

  31.        3. Start the installation.

  34. Supporting the IBM ISA CD-ROM after OS/2 Installation
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------

  37.        1. Open the OS/2 System Icon.
  38.  
  39.        2. Open Command Prompts.
  40.  
  41.        3. Open OS/2 Window.
  42.  
  43.        4. Type E CONFIG.SYS.
  44.  
  45.        5. Add the line:

  47.        BASEDEV=ISACDOS2.ADD /M:xxx
  48.        Where xxx is the hex address set on the switches.

  50.        6. Save the file and exit the editor.
