- Please Read Entire Document for Full Explanation of Procedures

- You need the following for installation:
-
- 1. The switch settings on the interface card. Refer to your
- CD-ROM manual.
- 2. The Diskette with the ISACDOS2.ADD driver.
- 3. The OS/2 diskettes or the CD-ROM installation package.

- PROCEDURES:
-
- Installing OS/2 2.1 FROM THE IBM ISA CD-ROM
- --------------------------------------------------------------

- 1. Make a diskcopy of OS/2 DISK1.
-
- 2. Edit the CONFIG.SYS and add the device driver line.
-
- BASEDEV=ISACDOS2.ADD /M:xxx
- Where xxx is the hex address set on the switches.

- 3. Start the installation.
-

- Supporting the IBM ISA CD-ROM after OS/2 Installation
- --------------------------------------------------------------

- 1. Open the OS/2 System Icon.
-
- 2. Open Command Prompts.
-
- 3. Open OS/2 Window.
-
- 4. Type E CONFIG.SYS.
-
- 5. Add the line:
-
- BASEDEV=ISACDOS2.ADD /M:xxx
- Where xxx is the hex address set on the switches.

- 6. Save the file and exit the editor.
-
- 7. Type exit
-
- 8. Close Command Prompts.

- 9. Select System Setup.
-
- 10. Select Selective Install.
