** Extract2 (X-OS2-17) - An UnZIP/UnARC/UnLZH Utility **
Extract2 (tm) is a utility designed for working with archive files. It
provides list/text/extract capabilities transparently across .ARC, .ZIP, and
.LZH files. The program will automatically detect the appropriate file type,
and will search for all three extensions if the input file spec does not
contain an extension. Run Extract2 with no parms for a display of the
correct usage syntax.
This program is currently compatible with archive files created by the
following programs:
- SEA's ARC, thru version 6.00 (excluding version 1)
- Phil Katz's PKZIP, thru version 1.01
- Yoshi's LHARC, thru version 1.13

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Version 6.0 is a "bound" or "family applications program in-
terface" (FAPI) program; it will run under either DOS or OS/2.
Although the compiler guarantees compatibility only with DOS Ver-
sion 3.x, it appears to run correctly under DOS 2.10.
This program has been tested on the IBM PC, XT, AT and PS/2
series of computers. It should work on close compatibles;
however experience with user comments suggests that some clones
are not as compatible as claimed. Although all testing has been
on machines with color displays, the program is intended to run
on monochrome displays as well.
