  25.  POSPRINT is a home-made OS/2 application which makes it  possible to print
  26. plain ASCII-files on the Apple  LaserWriter. The program will adjust the
  27. pointsize of the  character font so that a text of any (user-specified) width 
  28. will fit between the left and right side of the paper.

  31.   There is one important limitation with regard to the  printable characters:
  32.   The Apple can only print the 126 first characters of the  IBM characterset.
  33. The so-called IBM extended characters are  thus not printable. This means that
  34. some foreign (= non USA)  characters and-accents and the line-drawing charac-
  35. ters are  not available.

  38.  POSLP is a home-made application which makes it easy to  print splendid
  39. program listings. POSLP will print 70 lines  of 100 characters width in 8
  40. points Courier. It will print a  header on each page wich contains the
  41. filename, the creation   date and the print date. The footer will contain the 
  42. pagenumber of each page.
  43.  POSLP is made for an Apple Laserwriter, but should work on
  44. other PostScript printers too.

  46.               PMLOCK - A very simple PM keyboard lock.
  47.           The default password is PMLOCK. It can be changed  by pressing
  48. Alt-N. The current password and the screen  location of the window are stored
  49. in the OS2.INI file if you  close the application.
  50.    One serious flaw is the fact that the password is typed  in the normal
  51.  visible font, so anybody looking over your shoulder will  know your
  52.  password.

  54.            PM_MEM - A PM Memory monitor
  55.  This program will track the available free memory in an  OS/2 system.
  56.  It does this by calling DosAvailMem and allocating memory  until the
  57.  there is only 20 Kb of free memory left or until 20 blocks  of memory
  58.  are allocated. Then it frees all allocated memory blocks.

  60.          PM_CPU - A PM CPU monitor program
  61.  This program was based on the code that appeared in the  Personal
  62.  Systems Developer magazine of IBM (Feb 89).
  63.  
  64.  This program displays a continuous graph of the processor  utilisation
  65.  in a PM window. In fact it measures the processor idle time  by counting
  66.  the number of times a very low priority thread can loop in  a NOP loop
  67.  in a given (but user configurable) time period.
