  27. "DosEA 6 -- Switched on DOS" is the sixth in the DosEA series of
  28. programs which constitute a dossier on DOS. DosEA 6 is a
  29. hypertext database which examines the 85 new parameters in MS-DOS
  30. 5, as well as all 238 of them for DOS versions 1.0 to 5.0. 
  31. Switches and other parameters can be examined from the point of
  32. view of the commands, the versions, the switches, their names,
  33. or from the points of view of the other parameters. A chapter is
  34. also included on Parameter Trivia.
  35. You can now view DOS from angles never seen before: its switches
  36. and parameters.  DOS has 238 switches and parameters since MS-DOS
  37. 5 added 85 new ones. "DosEA 6 -- Switched on DOS" is a hypertext
  38. database, with over 1,900 cross-references, that turns this
  39. mishmash of seemingly incomprehensible information into recogni-
  40. zable patterns which can help power users get an even firmer grip
  41. on DOS. Switches and other parameters can be examined from the
  42. points of view of the commands, the versions, the switches, their
  43. names, or from the points of view of the other parameters.
