  38. The Animated Alphabet is an educational program for children
  39. from pre-school age to first grade. It combines colorful EGA
  40. graphics with animation in an exciting way to learn the alphabet.

  42. When the child matches the correct letter to the displayed
  43. picture, they are rewarded with a movie-like animation. High
  44. quality animated images are achieved by the use of nearly 300
  45. pictures. *) This program was written
  46. by an artist with over a dozen years' experience in the field of
  47. classical animation.

  55.      plaatje/animatie beschikbaar: 26 in totaal. Ze zijn erg
  56.      aardig om te zien, daardoor leerzaam denk ik, en voor een
  57.      prijs van slechts $ 7,95 (etc.) komt U in bezit van de
  58.      overige 274. Een nadeel dat aan de edukatieve waarde ietwat
  59.      afbreuk doet is het voor deze doelgroep verwarrende feit dat
  60.      de te matchen woorden alle Engels zijn: de juiste letter
  61.      voor 'aap' is daarmee niet de 'A' maar de 'M' van 'monkey'.
  62.      Hoewel: mijn kinderen beleefden er daarom niet minder
  63.      plezier aan!

  65. **)  Het totaal aantal bytes dat deze 26 animaties in beslag
  66.      neemt: 1,2 MB. Voor alle 300 animaties toch al gauw ruim 3
  67.      Mb. De wisseling van plaatje gaat evenwel snel genoeg.
