  36. VOL3922        WIZQUIZ, JEM en PC-QUIZZER

  38. WIZQUIZ is een reken quiz programma, met random gegenereerde  sommen, waarbij
  39. rekening wordt gehouden met de leeftijd van  de speler. Opgaven en keuze menu
  40. gebruikenb de engelse taal.  Kunt U onderstaande beschrijvng niet volgen, dan
  41. is het  programma dus niets voor U:

  43. WIZQUIZ provides randomly-generated, graded problems that  cover a wide
  44. selection of the elementary school mathematics  curriculum. Problems cover
  45. addition, subtraction,  multiplication, division, lowest common denominator, 
  46. greatest common factor, simple and advanced fractions,  decimals and percents,
  47. and reciprocals. Each type of problem  has 10 levels, and each level has a
  48. target score determined  by the number of errors and the time it takes to
  49. solve 10  problems. Since WIZQUIZ asks for and remembers a player's  age, it
  50. can and does restrict access to easier problems by  age. After each set of 10
  51. problems the program calculates  the new average, checks the score against the
  52. best ever and  the player's own previous best performance, and announces  the
  53. score. WIZQUIZ keeps a separate record for each player's  best score and
  54. averages. Each record is password-protected,  but there is a "super wizard's"
  55. password that lets anyone  look at anybody's scores. WIZQUIZ is a program that
  56. can be  used both at home and at school.

  58. JEM LOGO is een LOGO interpretatie, geschreven door een  Canadese meneer. Er
  59. zijn betere en nederlandstalige LOGO  versies beschikbaar, ook binnen de HCC.

  61. PC-QUIZZER is een typisch amerikaans opvoedkundig vraag en  antwoord of
  62. overhoor programma. Je kunt zelf vragen files  samenstellen mbv een ASCII
  63. tekst editor. Er kunnen plaatjes,  kleurentekst en zelfs melodietjes gebruikt
  64. worden in de quiz  files.
