  45.     XXXPERT lets you create a question-and-answer diagnostic
  46. program to help solve problems. XXXPERT can be used for just
  47. about any application, and once a program is created it will  help
  48. you do things that you would not be able to do consistently  as
  49. well without XXXPERT. Programs are created by a system of  rules
  50. in an English language syntax, stored in a "rules" file.  Rules
  51. are simply statements of logic used to structure the  program.
  52. Questions that appear on the screen are stored in an "asks"  file.
  53. Once a program is completed, it can be compiled and then  executed
  54. by the CONSULT program. A person using CONSULT does not need  to
  55. know the rules for structuring a program.

  57.     SCREEN-DO enables you to design and create screens that  can
  58. be used by BASIC programs. Each screen that is saved to the  disk
  59. is 3848 bytes long and can be accessed through the BLOAD  command
  60. in BASIC. SCREEN-DO simplifies the process of editing  screens
  61. through a number of commands. There are cursor, line, and
  62. paragraph functions that allow the user to easily delete,  insert,
  63. move, and copy certain sections of the screen. Another  function
  64. displays the ASCII characters numbered 126 to 254 and lets  the
  65. user display them on the screen. One option allows the  cursor to
  66. be moved across the screen to trace a certain character  selected
  67. by the user. SCREEN-DO has on-line help that makes it easy  to
  68. learn, in addition to simplifying the designing of screens  for
  69. use with BASIC programs.
