  41. Program Title: DEEP SPACE version 1.3 (Disk 1 of 2)

  43.     DEEP SPACE plots star maps in one of three ways: a general
  44. all-sky map for your given latitude and date, a "simple" map of a
  45. part of the sky you select, and a "complex" map where you select
  46. the projection and scale. The program has an interactive plot
  47. feature (works with CGA only) where you can plot these to the
  48. screen, identify the stars, connect the constellations, and label
  49. the constellations. With or without the interactive plot, the
  50. star maps can be printed, and you can generate 3-D star maps.
  51. Deep Space also plots orbits of the planets. It will accept entry
  52. of comet orbit data, generate comet ephemerides, and plot the
  53. comet orbits on the star maps. The program works for southern
  54. latitudes as well as northern.

  56. Usage: Educational/Hobbyist
  57.  
  58. System Requirements: 512K memory, two disk drives, color graphics
  59. and a printer (not necessary but recommended).

  61. How to Start: For computers WITH an 8087 chip, type: DS (press
  62. enter).  For computers WITHOUT an 8087 chip, type: DSS (press
  63. enter).
