  20. Program Title: INSURE version 1.20
  21.  
  22.     INSURE maintains medical insurance claim records. It is
  23. simple and convenient and provides all functions needed with
  24. such records. The program is menu-driven with instructions to
  25. guide you through every step. The program features convenient
  26. data entry, search-and-list functions, and instant print-out
  27. summaries. With this program you can record all your medical
  28. bills, and separately keep track of how much money is paid by
  29. you and each insurance company. Each claim entry includes who
  30. provided the service, the date on which the service was done,
  31. the patient's name, the charge, category, and comments. The
  32. categorizing feature can be used, for example, when a policy
  33. has different maximum amounts that it will pay for different
  34. kinds of services. You can then use the list mode to calculate
  35. the total amount paid by a particular insurance plan for a
  36. particular kind of service. The categories are also useful at
  37. income tax time to have the computer calculate how much you
  38. paid for hospital expenses, doctor bills, etc. There can only
  39. be up to three claims per entry. The insurance plans are
  40. limited to 10, the number of patients is also limited to 10,
  41. and there can only be up to 200 entries. This version of the
  42. program comes with sample entries, and for evaluation purposes
  43. any entries above entry seven will not be retained by memory.
  44. The INSURE program runs on an IBM PC/XT/AT with at least 256K
  45. of RAM memory.

  53. treerd worden. Tevens kunt u vermelden bij welke verzekerings-
  54. maatschappijen u uw rekeningen wilt verzilveren. De computer
  55. houdt het eigen risico bij. Overzichtjes met "zoek en vind"
  56. zijn in grote verscheidenheid te produceren. U kunt bijvoor-
  57. beeld een familielid doorlichten. Of, u wilt weten welke
  58. verzekering het snelst betaalt. 
  59. De handleiding is uitgebreid.

  61. INSURE lijkt een programma met een beperkte toepasbaarheid in
  62. Nederland. Immers grote delen van de bevolking zijn via het
  63. ziekenfonds verzekerd. Wie particulier bij diverse maatschap-
  64. pijen is verzekerd kan wellicht zijn wel en wee aan dit pro-
  65. gramma toevertrouwen.
