  22. Program Title: COST EFFECTIVE  version 1.10

  24.     COST EFFECTIVE processes bills of materials. It is  useful to
  25. manufacturers who need to keep track of manufactured product
  26. costs due to fluctuations in the cost of raw materials. This
  27. program allows the user to specify raw materials and their  unit
  28. costs, and computes the cost of each product based upon  these
  29. entries. When the price of the raw materials changes, the  program
  30. recomputes the costs automatically. Materials and costs are
  31. entered into tables, which are used by the program to  provide
  32. information concerning the manufacturing operation. COST
  33. EFFECTIVE has other features, such as displaying a list of
  34. products by material. It comes on two diskettes and is best  run
  35. from its own sub-directory on a hard disk.  It can be run on  a
  36. floppy, but without on-line help.
