  22. Program Title:  DESK COMMANDO, MATH COMMANDO  version 1.32

  24.     DESK COMMANDO is a set of utilities to help you manage files
  25. on your hard or floppy disk drives. With this program you can re-
  26. optimize your disk drive, recover deleted files and sub-
  27. directories, sort the contents of a directory in any order, and
  28. possibly recover disk information after an execution of a format
  29. command. You can also "zap" a file, an entire disk, or the unused
  30. portions of a disk so that none of the contents may be recovered.
  31. DESK COMMANDO has a directory editor that lets you edit any
  32. directory entry's information, including file name, size, date,
  33. time, starting-cluster number, and file attributes. The disk map
  34. command will show the relative amount of disk space used, plus
  35. additional disk technical information. You can also test a disk
  36. for bad sectors and rebuild a file if the one is found in a file
  37. chain. The hex edit command will permit you to physically edit a
  38. file or sectors of the disk. With DESK COMMANDO you can also
  39. locate a file, view a file, display the directory tree, modify
  40. the volume label, and use a timer to determine the relative
  41. speeds of various processes.

  43. The other program on this disk is a memory-resident calculator
  44. called MATH COMMANDO.  It is set up in the same manner as most HP
  45. calculators with all the extra features included.
