  51. VOLUME 3607 TEXT & PRINTER UTILITIES

  53. This disk contains a various collection of text and printer  utilities. The 
  54. Printer util's are specialy for the Epson printers, The text  util's voor 
  55. Wordstar and Epson combination. Also on this disk a simple  disk catalog 
  56. program, wich delivers an catalog file for use with Dbase  (II). 
  57. C, Basic and assembler sources included.

  61. HEBREW uses a downloaded character set on an Epson FX series  printer to print
  62. in Hebrew, after preparing the file with  WordStar.  The source code is
  63. provided for those who might  want to change the mapping of English to Hebrew
  64. characters.

  66. TEXT CHECKER checks a WordStar text file for two kinds of  errors:  certain
  67. control characters, quotes, parentheses, and brackets that  are not in pairs;
  68. extra spaces between words and  inconsistent numbers of spaces between
  69. sentences.

  71. CDIR -> DB is a cataloging program.  Most of the disk  cataloging programs
  72. available impose size limitations but this one creates two  files on the
  73. default disk, VOL.LIB and DB.LIB, and keeps  appending to these as long as you
  74. keep shoving in disks.   CDIR is terminated after each disk read to permit you
  75. to do  something else in the midst of doing all this cataloging.

  77. SMX is a printer utility designed for an EPSON MX80 (SFX is  for the FX185). 
  78. It accepts a parameter (or asks for one)  and then sends the translated codes
  79. to the printer.

  81. INDEXER creates an index file, with page numbers, from a  formatted text file.
