  23. Program name       :   PDS*QUOTE
  24. Program Description:   PDS*QUOTE provides a means of rapidly  and
  25. accurately preparing quotations for projects which can be
  26. expressed in terms of process cost, material cost, labor  cost,
  27. and markup.  It doesn't appear to have any capabilities for
  28. adding yield or contingency factors on any of the  operations.

  30. The system has its own database manager for preparing the  various
  31. process cost records, parts cost records, labor cost  records,
  32. etc..  It also allows inclusion of special one-time items  that
  33. wouldn't normally be a part of the database.  It also allow
  34. multiple labor groupings and different markups on each item.

  36. PDS*QUOTE will work nicely in many applications where  itemized
  37. written quotations are required by the customer.  It allows  a
  38. quotation to be printed showing either "raw" or "marked up"
  39. line
  40. item prices, and saves the quotation on a disk file after
  41. printing.

  43. System requirements are an IBM PC/XT/AT (or compatible),  256K
  44. bytes of RAM memory, one disk drive, and a printer.
