  29.                  TIPS ON USING SYMPHONY MACROS

  33.  This program makes very extensive use of macros, with several
  34.  lines of coding.  Virtually every macro command is used.  The
  35.  program has the advantage of easy access to the Macros, as an
  36.  option when the program begins.

  49.    was mailed to Symphony users who experienced difficulty using Symphony
  50.    on an IBM PC with two monitors (selection number 5 in the Symphony
  51.    Install Program, requiring a monochrome monitor, a monochrome card, a
  52.    graphics monitor, and a color or graphics card).

  56.    This is a discussion of problems which may be encountered when using
  57.    SideKick together with Symphony.

  60.     This character translation file (512 byte binary file) converts
  61.     Wordstar files by importing them character by character using the
  62.     Symphony File Import Text command.  To use, specify the use of the
  63.     translation file by pressing {SERVICES}, select Configuration Other
  64.     File-Translation Custom, and point to the WORDST.CTF file.  Next use
  65.     {SERVICES} File Import Text to import the Wordstar file.

  69.     This Symphony Data Model Add-In allows an unrefined transfer of
  70.     data from a Multiplan(tm) SYLK file directly to Symphony cells,
  71.     and from a range of cells to a SYLK file.  Formula conversion is
  72.     not done.  Press {SERVICES}, select Application Attach MPLAN.APP,and
  73.     then look at the File Import and Xtract menus for proper use.
