  32. Downloading  files with Ascii protocol over noisy phone lines may 
  33. sometimes put bad characters, e.g. control codes, in a file.
  34. When the file is printed, these extraneous control codes may put        
  35. the printer into various unwanted print modes.  PCFILTER will      
  36. remove all ASCII codes below SPACE (32) except CR and LF.
