  22. PC-Type + is an update of volume 2455, and consists of disk 2921- 2923. This
  23. disk contains the main program; 2922 has the help  files and 2923 the spelling
  24. check dictionary. There is no  documentation on disk, as this is an evaluation
  25. copy. Full  licenses may be obtained from Buttonware or, in Holland, from 
  26. Mega-K, Haarlem, Dfl. 225 incl. BTW.

  31. If your PC is not truly IBM compatible, then you MUST use a special
  32. parameter when you first call PC-TYPE+.
  33.  
  34. If you are nearly compatible, use the parameter /BIOS.
  35. If you are not very compatible at all, use the parameter /ANSI.

  40. (NOTE: for the /ANSI mode to work, you must have the line
  41.                            DEVICE=ANSI.SYS
  42.        in your CONFIG.SYS file.)

  47. The list of printer files below has been provided on your help disk.
  48. Before you are totally finished, you will want to pull the appropriate
  49. printer file into PC-TYPE+ and make its data permanent.  Instructions
  50. on how to do this are provided in your PC-TYPE+ manual and in the HELP
  51. file DFLTS_RD.  PC-TYPE+ is distributed with the EPSON printer codes
  52. in place.

  54. If your printer is not supplied in the list below, you will have to
  55. enter your printer codes for BOLD, UNDERLINE, etc.  in the PRINTER
  56. ESCAPE CODES subscreen of the MODIFY DEFAULTS screen.  Detailed information on
  57. how to do this is provided in your PC-TYPE+ manual and
  58. in the HELP file ESC_CODE.
