  76. Dit schijfje bevat twee verschillende programma's die de overgang 
  77. van een (elektrische) schrijfmachine op een Personal Computer als 
  78. tekstverwerker kunnen vergemakkelijken. Het eerste programma, 
  79. FASTYPE, is een instructie- en oefenprogramma om op de PC te 
  80. leren typen. Het is zowel bedoeld voor beginnelingen met een 
  81. elementaire typvaardigheid als voor meer gevorderde typisten met 
  82. ervaring op de schrijfmachine, die nu op het toetsenbord van de 
  83. PC moeten leren werken. NB: Voor dit programma is een 
  84. colour/graphics card vereist! (Er zijn tegenwoordig ook 
  85. softwareprogramma's op de markt, die zo'n kaart emuleren, 
  86. misschien bieden die uitkomst als men alleen over een monochroom- 
  87. of een Herculeskaart beschikt.)
  88. Het tweede programma op dit schijfje, TYPERITE, is handig voor 
  89. wie even snel iets op papier wil zetten zonder daarvoor een 
  90. tekstverwerkingsprogramma te gebruiken. Zet uw printer aan, tik 
  91. TYPERITE in en begin te typen. Bij elke carriage return print de 
  92. printer de zojuist ingetikte (en eventueel met de backspace 
  93. gecorrigeerde) regel. Het programma biedt diverse mogelijkheden 
  94. om de (Epson)printer aan te sturen, zoals een tabulator, 
  95. onderstreepte en vet gedrukte tekst, subscript en superscript 
  96. etc. Het kan eventueel ook gebruikt worden om enkel maar de 
  97. printer in te stellen. "Saven" van de getypte tekst is er echter 
  98. niet bij!
