  47. PC-Write is a word processor and text editor for the IBM 
  48. Personal Computer.  It helps you write and format books,
  49. reports, letters, programs, manuals, or other text.
  50.  
  51. PC-Write was developed for the IBM Personal Computer and 
  52. PCjr.  It runs on many compatible computers, such as the 
  53. Columbia, Compaq, Corona, and some Eagles and Televideos.

  55. The PC-Write diskette contains two programs:  the editor 
  56. and page printer.  You use the editor to create your text,
  57. and the page printer to divide it into pages for printing. 
  58. PC-Write includes many features:

  60.    Insert, replace, and delete text anywhere you want.
  61.    Search for a piece text and replace it with other text.
  62.    Move and copy blocks of text from one place to another.
  63.    Set margins and tabs, reformat and justify paragraphs.
  64.    Underlined and boldface text using font characters.
  65.    Print your text in pages with headers and footers.
  66.    Split screen mode lets you edit two files at once.
  67.    Search and replace with "wild card" match characters.
  68.    Very fast operation lets you edit efficiently.
  69.    Convenient transpose, change case, and Bookmark keys.
  70.    You can set any key to be any sequence of keys.

  72. TXTPROC is  a multi-purpose text processor. The purpose of this  program is to
  73. solve some of the problems people have with text  files. You may find that
  74. this program alone, solves some of the  problems you solve using several
  75. shorter programs.

  77.    By properly combining your responses to the various prompts  you can
  78. translate WORDSTAR document files to straight text, add  or remove the <LF> to
  79. or from every <CR>, or just strip control  chars.
