*** CANNON ***
You are the commander of a gun crew for a long-range cannon. You must give
your crew the proper angle of elevation in degrees to put your rounds on the
target. A hit by one of your high explosive rounds within a hundered meters of
the target will destroy it.
*** FENCE.BAS ***
The object of the game of FENCE is to 'KILL' the target. The
target (shown on the screen as "+CHR$(219)+") will change locations at regular
time intervals depending upon the skill level you select:
ADVANCED: Target will move every 3 seconds
INTERMEDIATE: Target will move every 6 seconds
BEGINNER: Target will move every 10 seconds
The 'hunter' will stalk along at a steady pace. You can change the
direction of the hunter by putting up a fence (\ or /) which will change the
hunters direction depending upon the direction he is currently travelling.
*** LUNAR ***
This is a computer simulation of an apollo lunar landing capsule. The
on-board computer has failed (it was made by IBM), so you will have to land
the capsule manually. Set burn rate of retro rockets to any value between 0
(free fall) and 200 (maximum burn) pounds per second. Set new burn rate every
10 seconds.
Capsule weight 32,500 lbs: fuel weight 16,500 lbs.
Good luck!
Welocome to the game of NIM!
The game of NIM is an ancient game of skill and strategy. The game is played
with any number of piles of objects. The two players take turns removing any
number of objects from one of the piles. You can take one object or the
whole pile, but you can't take objects from two piles.
As agreed upon before the start of the game, the winner is the one who
takes (or doesn't take) the last object from the last pile. In this version
of the game, you can elect to have up to 12 piles of objects, with up to 15
objects in each pile. From here on out, just respond to the questions as they
come up. Oh, by the way, if you want to concede a game, just enter 0,0 when
it's your move. Your IBM Personal Computer gladly accepts forfeits.
