  89.                     MODEM7 for IBM & Compatibles

  91. This  program  uses  the  file transfer routines  written  by  Ward 
  92. Christensen  in his CP/M file transfer program (V2.0 as of  8/6/79) 
  93. and  is  compatible with his program in single file transfer  mode. 
  94. Multi-file transfers are only possible between two systems  running 
  95. the program described below.

  97. This program has two functions:
  98.  
  99.         1.  Communication
  100.  
  101. The program may emulate a terminal or echo data back to sender (act
  102. as a computer).
  103.  
  104.         2.  Program transfer
  105.  
  106.         These  features  are  the same as in the  CP/M  Modem  program 
  107.         written by Ward Christensen except that upon completion of the 
  108.         transfer, control returns to the Menu unless the secondary 'T' 
  109.         option has been selected.  In the latter case, control returns 
  110.         to Terminal mode.  
  111.         
  112. Multi-file transfers
  113.  
  114.         Using  the B (batch) secondary option,  more than one file and 
  115.         ambiguous filenames may be transferred. 
  116.  
  117. "Squish" is a utility program for an IBM PC or compatible
  118. with color/graphics adapter, 1 disk drive, and Basic.
  119.       Programmers tend to use quite a few REMarks when
  120. programming, add extra spaces to make listings more readable, as
  121. well as putting only a few statements on each line.  The result
  122. is a program that is easier to read and debug, but not very space
  123. or memory efficient.  The ideal utility would remove extra spaces
  124. and REMs, and combine lines, when possible without altering the
  125. structure of the BASIC program.
  126.      Enter the TRS-80 program Squish...if only it were translated
  127. to the IBM PC.  We've done so, and it is presented here for the
  128. benefit of all our IBM subscribers.

  131.                     B&L FREE1 PROGRAM
  132.  
  133.      This program will convert 160K of ram space into an electronic
  134.      drive.  This drive will be drive C: .  An electronic disk drive
  135.      functions like a regular disk drive except it is 50 TIMES faster!!
  136.  
  137.      Since this drive looks exactly like a single sided double
  138.      density drive, you can use programs like DISKCOPY, DISKCOMP,
  139.      FORMAT with it.
