Installation of the 90c33 OS/2 driver
-------------------------------------
- From the OS/2 command prompt, open the OS/2 full-screen.
- Place the installation diskette in a floppy drive, drive A for example.
- Switch to that floppy drive (by entering "A:" if in drive A, etc.)
- Enter "wdsetup x" where x is the drive where OS/2 is located.
(Omit the colon.)
- When asked, choose "Primary Display" and then "OK".
- Similarly, choose "Western Digital Accelerated (WDC33 only)".
- Then choose "Install using Defaults for Monitor Type".
- Select a resolution for the driver. For reference, a list of available
resolutions is given below.
- A window will appear listing the assumed source directory. It should be
"A:" if the installation diskette is in drive A, "B:" for drive B, etc.
- If told that a target file is later than the corresponding source file,
and asked whether you want to replace it, answer "No".
- After the installation finishes, close the OS/2 full-screen window by
entering the command "exit".
- Shut down OS/2. Note that during shutdown OS/2 displays a small window
with the message "Please wait, shutdown in progress". When it is
finished it displays another window with the message "Shutdown has
completed...". Sometimes, however, it places this completion window
behind the first window so that the "Please wait..." message is still
showing. When the second window appears it is safe to reboot even if
you cannot read the completion message.
- Reboot OS/2.

Known bugs
----------
You cannot run a Windows program in a desktop window. To run a Windows
program, first open a Win-OS/2 full-screen window and, at the prompt,
enter the command "win" to start Windows. Then you can run the Windows
program in the usual way.
If you click on a program icon in a Win-OS/2 Group folder or in a Windows
Program folder, it will not run. (It won't cause any harm; it just doesn't
run.) This is because OS/2 tries to run the Windows program in a desktop
window, and this feature has been disabled with these drivers. As mentioned
above, you can run Windows in a Win-OS/2 full-screen window.
