  12.     2. OS2 2.x Installation Instructions:
  13.        
  14.        New OS/2 Installation from SCSI CD-ROM drive.
  15.        --------------------------------------------
  16.        (1) Make a backup copy of the OS/2 System Diskette 1.
  17.        (2) Copy the file DTC3280.ADD for DTC3280/50 or 
  18.        Copy the file DTC3270.ADD for DTC3270
  19.        to the root directory of the backup OS/2 System Diskette 1.
  20.        (If there is insufficient amount of space on Diskette 1, 
  21.        delete the file README.INS)
  22.        (3) For DTC3280/50, Add one line "basedev=DTC3280.add"  or
  23.        For DTC3270, Add the line "basedev=DTC3270.add"  
  24.        as the last line of the file CONFIG.SYS on the backup Diskette 1.
  25.        (4) Using this backup copy of Diskette 1, follow the OS/2 
  26.        installation guide to do system installation.

  29.       New OS/2 Installation from floppy drive.
  30.       ---------------------------------------
  31.       (1) Follow the OS/2 installation guide and install OS/2 using
  32.       the standard built-in INT 13 drivers.
  33.       (2) After installation is completed, boot OS/2.  For the 
  34.       DTC3x50 or DTC3280, copy the file DTC3280.ADD to the OS2
  35.       directory on the C: drive.
  36.       For the DTC3270, copy the file DTC3270.ADD to the OS2
  37.       directory on the C: drive.
  38.       (3) Edit CONFIG.SYS by adding the following line to the end    
  39.       of this file:
  40.        For DTC3270-          BASEDEV=DTC3270.ADD
  41.        For DTC3x50/3280-     BASEDEV=DTC3280.ADD
  42.       (4) Shutdown and reboot system for drivers to take effect.

  45.      If OS/2 2.x has been installed:
  46.      -------------------------------
  47.       (1) Boot the OS/2 system.
  48.       (2) For the DTC3x50 or DTC3280, copy the file DTC3280.ADD 
  49.       to the OS2 directory on the C: drive.
  50.       For the DTC3270, copy the file DTC3270.ADD to the OS2
  51.       directory on the C: drive.
  52.       (3) Edit CONFIG.SYS by adding the following line to the end    
  53.       of this file:
  54.        For DTC3270-          BASEDEV=DTC3270.ADD
  55.        For DTC3x50/3280-     BASEDEV=DTC3280.ADD
  56.       (4) Shutdown and reboot system for drivers to take effect.
