  1. WHAT IS GAZEBO(c)?

  3. Gazebo(c) is a computer chess program for Microsoft Windows(TM) 3.0,
  4. 3.1, and Windows NT. Gazebo(c) is written entirely in object-oriented 
  5. Microsoft Visual C++ Professional(TM).

  7. Gazebo(c) uses the null-move and history heuristics in implementing an
  8. iterative depth-first alpha-beta search with full quiescence and
  9. combined terminal-node and ply-1 evaluation tables. Depth-limited and
  10. time-limited search are featured.

  12. Gazebo(c) is a tightly-coded, efficient algorithm, which avoids
  13. the "bloated" approach of other chess programs, yet still offers
  14. beautiful color graphics, an attractive icon, integrated mouse
  15. handling, and super-fast startup.
