  3. Much of the software on this CD-ROM is designated as some form of
  4. "Shareware."  Shareware software is not free.  Shareware is a
  5. try-before-you-buy method of software distribution.  Please read
  6. the individual author's comments on the registration of his or her
  7. product.  If you use a Shareware product you should pay for it - just
  8. like commercial software.  Shareware authors rely on your good will
  9. and honesty.

  11. Some software, however, is designated "Public domain" or "freeware."
  12. Such software usually will not require any registration.  If a 
  13. registration is required it is usually just a post card to the
  14. author - to let him or her know that you like and use the product.
