  1.              Welcome to NTE  - Electronic Component Database.
  2. There are five files needed to be able to use the guide, they are;
  3. NTE.001
  4. NTE.002
  5. NTE.003
  6. NTE.004
  7. NTE.005
  8. These files must be downloaded individually and all must be present
  9. to use this package.  I strongly advise that you perform the following
  10. operations on a hard disk with at least 4Mb. free space.
  11. With all five files available, use the DOS Copy command to combine
  12. them into one large binary file, the following command line worked for
  13. me with MS-Dos 5.0;
  14.  
  15. COPY /B NTE.001+NTE.002+NTE.003+NTE.004+NTE.005 NTE.ZIP
  16.  
  17. This will create a single large ZIP file that can be unzipped with
  18. PKUNZIP 1.10.  Before unzipping, you may want to copy the original
  19. NTE.00n files to floppy diskette(s) to regain some hard disk space.
  20. After unzipping, you will probably want to delete the ZIP file as well.
  21. If you've successfully unzipped the created ZIP file, you're on your way,
  22. and you can run the NTE.EXE file.
  23. The files have been scanned for virus with McAfee's Scan 89.
