Glad you could stop by. I have just finished reading a great book. It's called Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, written by William Steig. This story is about a donkey named Sylvester who loved to collect pebbles. One day as Sylvester vas hanging out on the bank of a river, he found a very extracdinary pebble. Just as he picked up the pebble, it began to rain. Sylvester became very cold and said "I wish it would stop raining." Just then the rain came to a halt. Surprised, but yet very excited, Sylvester realized that the pebble he found had some remarkable povers. Sylvester vas indeed very excited by his find. He couldn't vait to get home and show his mom and dad the pebble. As he was about to leave, he came face to face with a hungry lion. Remembering his magical pebble, he wishes he was a rock. Safe for the moment, Sylvester tried to turn back into a donkey, but had no luck. He had to be touching the pebble for the magic to work.
