  1.     WinTag/DosTag/NGSTag, fun programs by Neil Gorin

  3.     What is it?
  4.  
  5.     WinTag,  DOSTag  and NGSTag simply displays "tag lines" stored in  the
  6.     file  TAGS.DAT.  The  three  programs and the required  files  are  as
  7.     follows:
  8.  
  9.          DOSTag: Text-only version, displays tag line then exits.
  10.                  DOSTAG.EXE, TAGS.DAT
  11.  
  12.          WinTag: Microsoft Windows version, see GUI versions below.
  13.                  WINTAG.EXE, TAGS.DAT, CTL3D.DLL
  14.  
  15.          NGSTag: NGS GUI version (self contained). Needs VGA.
  16.                  See GUI versions below.

  19.     GUI Versions
  20.  
  21.     The  GUI  versions, WinTag and NGSTag, display the tag line  formatted
  22.     onto two lines within a window. Operations are as follows:
  23.  
  24.          Left Mouse Click in Window: Close program
  25.          Right Mouse Click in Window: View another tag line
  26.          Press Escape: Close program
  27.  
  28.          Under NGSTag, you may also select the Close box to
  29.          close the window.
  30.  
  31.     As  default the WinTag window is displayed for 5 seconds, or until you
  32.     click  in  the  window or press escape. To increase or  decrease  this
  33.     delay,  simply include on the command line the number of seconds delay
  34.     required... e.g. WINTAG 15 for a 15 second delay. Note that the window
  35.     is invariably shown for longer than 5 (or 15) seconds, as the timer is
  36.     not apparantly updated whilst the hour glass cursor is displayed.

  38.     The Tag  Lines
  39.     were  all  grabbed  from  various conferences  on  Nildram  Software's
  40.     Shareware Support BBS on (0442) 891109.

  42.     Adding your own tag lines
  43.  
  44.     Simply load the file TAGS.DAT into NOTEPAD and add lines to the end of
  45.     the file. Make sure that there are no blank lines at the end.

  47.     Registration
  48.  
  49.     No  registration  needed!  But please take a look at any  one  of  the
  50.     following programs:

  53.     Gorin's  Organiser  for  DOS: Personal  Organiser  with  GUI interface
