CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONS TO THE USER'S MANUAL
----------------------------------------------
4.1 Running Ally From DOS
--------------------------
From the DOS command line, "ALLY" simply runs ALLY.BAT which is a
shortcut to ALLYWB. Users can execute ALLYWB directly if desired.
Two new ALLY (ALLYWB) command line parameters have been added; /IA and
/IC. The "/IA" parameter specifies "Immediate Analysis", forcing ALLY
to begin an Analysis without requiring the user to press [F5]. The
analysis will use the default report directory and default
destination. Unless a filename is also passed as a parameter, the
default file will be analyzed. If the destination is FILE or EDITOR,
a default report file name is generated in the usual manner, and any
existing report file of the same name is automatically overwritten.
The "/IC" parameter specifies "Immediate Check", forcing ALLY to run
its Checker without requiring the user to press [F4]. Unless a
filename is also passed as a parameter, the default file will be
checked. The /IA and /IC parameters are mutually exclusive, if both
parameters are entered ALLY uses the first one which appears on the
command line. Otherwise the order of parameters is unimportant.
