United SysOps of the World
==========================
March. 1994
Description:
------------
This non-profit organization is being created for one
evident reason: to unite the most SysOps in the world. This
union has some simple goals:
- Allow sysops to have the resource to help each other
- Allow a fast spreading of the latest sharewares and
informations
- Give non-bbs users an awareness of the existence of BBSes
and their usefullness
- Allows SysOps to meet and discuss about new ideas &
projects
The basic explanation of how it should work:
--------------------------------------------
SysOps will be grouped according to their geographical
location. Each region will have an organizer and each province or
state will also have an organizer for the regional organizers. But
there is no authority on any level. Regions can do what they want
but it would be nice of them to inform their state organizers to
keep the other sysops informed of what events occur in other regions.
Organizers will regularly contact their "parent"
organizer to spread information & sharewares. Then
the regional organizers will spread the files & informations
to the SysOps.
Shareware authors who send their shareware to the home BBS
will allow their programs to be spread on the entire network. If
they send their program to regional BBSes then the spread will only
be in the concerned region(s) unless otherwise specified by the
author. The home BBS will send lists of all the regional and
provincial BBSes to shareware authors to inform them of the union.
The home BBS will only accept sharewares from those who made them
to insure the original filename and contents remain intact.
Organizers ARE NOT ALLOWED to modify the files in anyway.
Only archive comments will be accepted. No files added or removed
from the archives!
Basic representation of the network levels:

This is only an example to clarify the working structure
of the network. The "real" network will be adjusted based upon
the number of members in each location
