- e-mail address manager, what does it do?
-
- If you have a business and want to perform BULK E-MAILS then this program can help you
- to maintain your e-mail address database.
-
- Here is how you do it. For example on a popular on-line service you can browse the forums
- which people use that would be interested in your product or services. You then block the
- e-mail address with your mouse and copy it to Notepad. Do this for as many addresses
- as you like. Then save this file.
-
- Later you can load this file to your 'address book on line' or copy the addresses to the 'To:'
- box.
-
- Here is where our program comes in.
-
- Most on-line services will not allow you to e-mail a group, lets say 100, when even just one
- e-mail address you are using is bad. Now you can use our program to STRIP BAD e-mail
- addresses from the file you created!
-
- ==================
- OPTIONS
- ==================
-
- 1: MERGE TWO FILES
-
- Use this option if you want to take a couple of e-mail files and merge them together to remove
- all duplicates!
-
- 2: CREATE NEW FILE
-
- Lets say you have an e-mail file with 500 addresses in it. Now you just created a new file but
- you do not want to e-mail the same people again. Use this option to create a new file of
- e-mail ADDRESSES that YOU HAVE NEVER E-MAILED!
-
- 3: DELETE BAD ADDRESSES
-
- When an on-line service finds that you have bad addresses, PEOPLE WHO ARE NO
- LONGER ON THE SYSTEM, the on-line service will show you a box of bad addresses
- as shown below. Simply BLOCK AND COPY these to Notepad and save it to a file
- then run this file against your e-mail primary file to remove the bad addresses.
-
- Example of bad addresses shown below as it would appear in the file you saved to the disk.
-
- e-mail address manager will pull in the e-mail address only and leave out the additional text so
- there is no need to pull out the text that says: - This is not a known user.
-

- Bad Addresses

- Jimm@xxx.com - This is not a known user.

- ==================
- DATA FILE SAMPLES
- ==================
-
- Your e-mail files should hold the address in one column for as many as you want to place in a
- like so:
- .
-
- patmosr
- dssprr@aol.com
- test11
- emailaddr
- jim1123@xxx.com
-
-
- Now e-mail address manager will use this format to maintain your database. The @.com is not
- necessary.
