- THE WEATHER REVIEWER (c) 1996, by Steve Hollar
- version 3.0
-
-
- Welcome to The Weather Reviewer. Have you ever wondered if this
- hot day or that rainy day was as bad as the same time last year?
- Keep track of the highs and lows in your area. Also, include rain-
- fall, snowfall, humidity, barometric pressure, general weather
- conditions and any extra information. Compare dates and years.
- Generate statistical reports.
- Version 3 is a vast improvement over version 2. The main data is
- held in a single file so immediate comparisons of any dates or
- range of dates is now possible. The addition of snowfall, humidity,
- barometric pressure and special information plus allowing inches or
- centimeters as measurements makes it far more usefull.
- I developed a simple version of this program over 5 years ago and
- have been keeping track of the weather every day since then. It
- can be quite fascinating and can win you a lot of arguments and\or
- bets.

- UPGRADING FROM VERSION 2 TO VERSION 3 **IMPORTANT**
- ---------------------------------------------------

- thing you want (75 spaces). i.e. Earthquake magnitude 5.8
- struck today. OR Caught a record fish at the lake.
-
- VIEW MONTH
-
- Enter as mmyyyy. ex: May 1996 would be 051996
-
- The month will be displayed in chronological order. The first

- barometric pressure and conditions.
-
- The second page shows statistical information.
-
- COMPARE DATES

- today" or "Caught a huge fish with an earthworm". The search
- is not case sensitive.
-
-
- Included in this package is the weather information for the
- 1994-1995 season in my area. You must use the CONVERT program
- to change the file "9495" to the new format. You can use this

- information is contained in two files, WEATHER.DAT and EXTRA.DAT
- After using, delete the files before adding any of your own data.
-
