  3. To show you the kinds of patterns this
  4. program can generate, use the mouse to
  5. move the pointer to the blue area labeled
  6. "Auto-Randomize", then click the left or right
  7. mouse button.  When you see a pattern you like,
  8. click anywhere on the screen to stop
  9. Auto-Randomize.

  11. A real harmonograph has pendulums connected
  12. to a pen and paper that move the two back
  13. and forth to create circular patterns.
