  5. *** EXPAND is a software which allow you to emulate a Midi Expander
  6. *** or Sampler (without sampling function) for the Atari Falcon.

  18. This is the first demo of EXPAND and i wait your reaction about this
  19. software of a new generation on Atari. 
  20.  
  21. Here follows a little list of features followed by a little explanation
  22. about the using of EXPAND.
  23.  
  24. - Load AVR sound from 0 to 50 khz (8 or 16 bits).
  25. - Play sound in Direct To Disk (no available on demo)
  26. - Dinamic polyphonic voice.
  27. - Instrument multi-sample (building, saving, loading...)
  28. - Envelop of volume,panning,... in real time
  29. - Receive the most of Midi messages : Note-on, Off, Aftertouch
  30.   Pitch, Main volume, Pan, Program change,...

  34. You can use quiclky EXPAND. Launch the program and pass the informations
  35. page. Next, load a AVR sample with the button LOAD SMP. It's ready !
  36. You can use a Midi keyboard to play your sound. Of course, you can assign
  37. different sound to any Midi Channel or use the program change to change
  38. sound.

  40. To use EXPAND in the same time that Cubase. Please rename the file EXPAND.PRG
  41. as EXPAND.ACC. Place it in the accessory path. Don't forget to copy too
  42. the file EXPAND.RSC and EXPAND.INF (if you got one)

  44. EXPAND reserve some memory to run with Cubase. Launch Cubase and NEXT EXPAND.
  45. The memory reserved can be defined in the menu OPTION. The button CUBASE
  46. must be set when CUBASE is running.
  47. This button allow you to read the Midi internal data of Cubase. Else if the
  48. button SYSTEM is on, EXPAND read the data from the external Midi entry
  49.  
  50. EXPAND is a commercial software gave with a documentation of 40 pages 
  51. (A4 format) and 2 disks.
