  14.  This is the first beta version of FlexTrax, the new soundtracker from
  15.  New Beat for Atari Falcon030 compatible computers.
  16.  
  17.  No detailed documentation is included in this release. The following text is
  18.  just supposed to be a short guide to how the the most important and perhaps
  19.  not so obvious functions in FlexTrax works.

  22.   THE MOUSE

  25.  Some functions in FlexTrax is only accessable from the mouse:
  26.  
  27.  - Zoom Sample
  28.  
  29.    Put the mousepointer at the position of the sample you want to zoom and
  30.    click left button to zoom in or right to zoom out.

  32.  - Scroll Sample
  33.  
  34.    Hold down the [Control] key and click on the samplewindow with the mouse.
  35.    Now move the mouse in the direction you want the sample to scroll.

  37.  - Copy/Clear pattern
  38.  
  39.    Move the mouse to the pattern area and line on the channel you want to
  40.    copy or clear. The mousepointer turns into a "block" icon. Now press the
  41.    left button and move the mouse right and/or down to mark the block you
  42.    want to copy or clear. When your block is marked, click on the copy or
  43.    clear button to the right of the pattern area. 
  44.    To paste it just select the destination position by placing the edit
  45.    marker on the channel and pattern line you want the block pasted (this can
  46.    be done by clicking the right mouse button while in the pattern area or use
  47.    the arrow keys of the keyboard in editmode) and click on the one of the
  48.    paste buttons to the right of the pattern area.

  51.   REALTIME EFFECTS

  54.  FlexTrax has support for reverb and delay realtime effects. The reverb has so
  55.  far only one parameter; level, which controls the reverb output level.

  57.  The delay has the following parameters:
  58.  
  59.  - Decay
  60.    The the number of bounces the delaycho should play, or fadeout.
  61.  
  62.  - Time
  63.    The time between every bounce.
  64.  
  65.  - PingPong/Single (PP/S) Bounce Strength
  66.    PingPong is an echo toggling between left/right channel and Single is a
  67.    midchannel monoecho.

  69.  - Level
  70.    Delay output level.

  76.  At the bottom of the pattern area there are 2 buttons (one for each channel)
  77.  marked M and S. M is short for Mute and S is short for Solo.
  78.  Mute sets the channel monitor off and Solo sets all channel monitors off 
  79.  except the solo channel. Solo has higher priority than Mute.
