Another Crude Player V1.0
=========================
This nice little proggy was created on 12.03.1994 by ENERGY of THE CHAOS
ENGINE. The used DSP-Routine was created by bITmASTER of BLUE SOFTWARE and the
used GEMLibrary was done by Christian Grunenberg.
This proggy was designed to replay modules while working on the Desktop etc.
It is specially designed for MultiTOS use, but also runs without MTOS, but
then you can not use other programs simultanously. Perhaps there will be a
Accessory Version that will allow you to 'multitask' even under SingleTOS.
Note that this program is Falcon-only as it uses the DSP which other Ataris do
not possess, as well as the Falcon Sound Sub System.
This program is entirely Freeware, as long as you copy the whole folder which
contains:
ACP.PRG <- The main program
ACP.RSC <- The resource file, without it, nothing happens
ACP.DOC <- This documentation
WHATSNEW.DOC <- A file with new functions...
*.MOD <- Any nice module by THE CHAOS ENGINE
The usage of this proggy is quite simple. To start it, just doubleclick the
corresponding icon. A wonderful window-dialog appears (Hi MTOS!!!), which
presents 5 buttons and a text. The buttons and its functions are:
"Load" - this one calls the fileselectorbox and you can select a mod. If
everything is ok, there should be prompted "Loaded: " and the module name if
it has one.
"Play" - this one runs the replay routine. Now the text shown is "Playing:"
and the module name.
"Stop" - Stops the replayer and text switches to "Loaded:"
"Clr!" - Clears the module from memory, text switches to "Empty" as no module
is loaded...
"Info" - Shows a small infobox, which is quite large... :-)
Note that all buttons of the dialogs are useable by pressing the Alt key
together with the underlined character.
You can also install the ACP as application with the following parameters: Set
Document type to "MOD", Default dir to "Application" and Parameter to "Full
path". That's all. And don't forget to save NEWDESK.INF.
