This is a complete project for a MediaView custom module. It is based on the Lines program in /NextDeveloper/Examples. When built and dragged into MediaView, it installs a bouncing line icon in the icon well. When instantiated, it inserts a small rectangle in the MediaView document. Clicking in the rectangle starts and stops the animation.
If the rectangle is selected, an inspector can be invoked by clicking the Tools/Custom/Inspect Component menu item.
