  1. This directory contains the programming examples for Chapter 10. These
  2. are optimized implementations of the DCT and IDCT. The sample applications
  3. are a sequential JPEG encoder and decoder. These are essentially the
  4. same as those from Chapters 8 and 9 with the new DCT classes.
  5.
