  9. on the Falcon 030, Spektrum1TC, Crazy Dots, Matrix true-color card, Nova 16M

  28. Run 'INSTALL.APP' to install GEM-View 2.30 and type in your registration-
  29. number, your name and your code/key. Take care to type your name precisely,
  30. observing capital/non-capital letters, spaces and special characters.
  31. The program will then be automatically registered in your name.
  32. If 'INSTALL.APP' don't work right, please use 'INSTALLA.APP', which
  33. search the data files on drive 'A:'.
  34.  
  35. During this process you may, if you wish, instal the programs in
  36. a directory other than the source directory. To do this, click on the empty
  37. box below the word "Pfad:" and choose the destination directory from the
  38. resulting selection box.
  39.  
  40. The contents of the archives (GEMVIEW.PAX, TOOLS.PAX and PICTURES.PAX)
  41. can be seen below together with details of the subdirectories which will
  42. be created.
  43.  
  44. Some special notes:
  45.   o A once-and-for-all depacking and installation process, which is not
  46.     dependent on your computer type, is all that is required.
  47.     After installation you can use all the files normally.
  48.   o You can start the installation from Floppy Disk, RAM-Disk or Hard-Disk.
  49.     It is, however, essential that the archives ( the .PAX files ) are in
  50.     the same directory as 'INSTALL.APP'.
  51.   o Before an existing file is overwritten, you will be asked for confirmation
  52.     to proceed.
  53.   o Using 'INSTALL.APP' doesn't modify the archives so you can copy this
  54.     disk after installation and send it to a friend! ;-)

  57.   If you registered an earlier version of GEM-View, and do not know your
  58.   code/key, you can obtain it as follows:-

  60.   o Send an eMail to me, with the following 'Subject:'
  61.             Register GEM-View: "#001234", "Norman User"
  62.     replacing the number by your own registration-number -see below- and
  63.     "Norman User" by your own name  which must be typed in precisely,
  64.     observing capital/non-capital letters, spaces and special characters.

  66.    (  You can discover your registration number quite simply.....
  67.     Run your old GEMVIEW and load the old GEMVIEW.PRG. - as if it  were
  68.     an image file. When it is listed as a plain hex-dump,look to the right
  69.     of the third line to find a number preceded by '#'. This is your own
  70.     registration-number! )

  73.   o Send me a letter with two CRI (international reply coupons), which
  74.     you can get at your post-office, saying that you want to know
  75.     your code/key. In this case your full name will be enough but please
  76.     write clearly and legibly!

  80. an unregistered version of GEMVIEW 2.30.
