The ON-LINE DUTCH DICTIONARY has been saved in Text (.txt) format. This wordlist can be used with any WindowsÖ product that allows a user dictionary and any DOS based application that reads .txt files.
Users of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Works and Office), Lotus products (AmiPro, Approach, 123, Freelance Graphics, Smart Suite and Lotus Works) and Word Perfect products (Word Perfect, QuattoPro, Perfect Office and Main Street) that use a shared dictionary will find this product a snap to setup.
There are several ways to setup this product:
Open one of the ON-LINE DICTIONARY files with your word processor.
If you are using one of the files listed above simply save the file with a .dic extention to the directory containing your personal dictionary. (check the documentation that came with your product)
Most products have a limitation on the number of words that can be contained in a user dictionary so it may be neccessary to create several .dic files to hold all the words in the ON-LINE DUTCH DICTIONARY.
If you are using a DOS based product check your documentation, you may be able to convert a text file to a user dictionary in the same manner as the products listed above.
Open each file on your word processor, run your spell checker, accept each word to your user dictionary.
