  3. IdioMagic's Main Menu presents six options.  Select an option by pressing the
  4. appropriate number.  
  5.

  7.     ║ [1] ~Lesson~  Each lesson will show you ten idioms from the current   ║
  8.     ║     lesson and level.                                               ║
  9.     ║                                                                     ║
  10.     ║ [2] ~Exercise~  An exercise gives you an incomplete sentence and      ║
  11.     ║     ask you to give the appropriate idiom for that sentence.        ║
  12.     ║                                                                     ║
  13.     ║ [3] ~Quiz~  A quiz asks you to match an idiom and its definition.     ║
  14.     ║                                                                     ║
  15.     ║ [4] ~Reference~  The reference has two features, the dictionary and   ║
  16.     ║     the thesaurus.                                                  ║
  17.     ║                                                                     ║
  18.     ║ [5] ~Utility~  Choose this option to set up various configurations,   ║
  19.     ║     such as screen color/shading, sound, difficulty level and       ║
  20.     ║     lesson number.                                                  ║

  22.     ║ [6] ~Quit~  Exit IdioMagic.  You should ALWAYS use this option when   ║
  23.     ║     you want to stop using IdioMagic.                               ║

  27. Detailed HELP screens are available after you make a selection [1] - [5].

  29.     ^CURRENT LESSON^: The current lesson and level numbers are displayed at
  30. the bottom of the IdioMagic Main Menu.  There are three levels of difficulty:
  31. 1) beginning, 2) intermediate, and 3) advanced.  Within each level, there are
  32. a number of lessons (20 in level 1, 20 in level 2 and 11 in level 3 in
  33. commercial version of IdioMagic and 1 in each level in demo version), and
  34. there are ten idioms in a lesson.  The current lesson refers to the very last
  35. lesson you have studied by choosing the option [1].

  37.      When you choose an exercise or quiz from the Main Menu, you will be
  38. tested on idioms from the current lesson, unless you change the scope to
  39. Previous or All lessons.
  40.  
  41.      When you choose a lesson, IdioMagic advances you to the next lesson and
  42. shows you ten idioms from that lesson.  After you have completed an entire
  43. level, it advances you to the first lesson in the next level.  You can always
  44. go back or skip ahead to another lesson or level by choosing the utility
  45. option [5] and changing the lesson and/or level numbers.
