  1.         TwinBridge(tm) Chinese System version 3.2 Working Demo

  4. 1. Installation:
  5.    =============
  6.         Due to the file size concern, the regular installaion program is not
  7.         used.  Since the procedure is not that complicate, please follow the
  8.         steps below to complete the installation.
  9.  
  10.         Copy twin.ini to your Windows directory. Use a text editor to modify
  11.         twin.ini "Dir=" entry to where TwinBridge files located.
  12.  
  13.         For example:
  14.         if you copy all files to C:\TWIN,  you should modify twin.ini to 
  15.  
  16.         [TwinBridge System]
  17.         Dir=C:\TWIN
  18.  
  19.         After modifying the twin.ini, setup a program group in windows for
  20.         twin.exe and tbconfig.exe.
  21.         ** If you have problem finding the Chinese font (Chn System), use 
  22.            the control panel Font section to add the Chinese Font manually.
  23.            The font is located in the TwinBridge directory (ie. c:\twin).

  25. 2. Start TwinBridge:
  26.    =================
  27.         Double the twin.exe program icon to start.  
  28.  
  29. 3. Usage:
  30.    ======
  31.         * Use Alt+up/down arrow key to select a chinese input method.
  32.         * Use Alt+left arror to toggle between Chinese and English mode.
  33.         * Click on the button on the right to bring up the Tool bar.
  34.         * Click on the "?" button to bring up the help file.       
  35.         
  36. 4. Note:
  37.    =====
  38.         Select the Chinese Font (Chn System) to type Chinese.  Use phrases
  39.         to input chinese (available for PinYin and ZhuYin).  To input as a 
  40.         phrase, type all the phonics for the first character and the first
  41.         phonic for the following characters.
  42.         
  43.         For example:
  44.         to enter the phrase "ma dao cheng gong" type "madc"
  45.  
  46.         The font used is 16x16 bitmap font.  To see the output quality for
  47.         Standard version, print out the file fontdemo.wri.
