  8. Except for the files  STORY.DVI*, all files are  ASCII text files.   The
  9. STORY.DVI* files  are 7-bit  or 8-bit  binary, depending  on the  output
  10. device.  In  the  following  directory  listing,  the  middle  field  is
  11. bytecount(bytesize).  To retrieve  these files correctly  with FTP,  you
  12. will probably need to  use binary mode; TOPS-20  FTP's can just set  the
  13. transfer type to  PAGED.  These are  provided so you  have something  to
  14. compare output with.  Only STORY.DVI-ALW is a human-readable file.
