HELP on DENSITY @ NTP g/cmê (grams per cubic centimetre)
Density is the mass per unit volume of a material. In this graph it is shown in grams per cubic centimetre. For gases, it is highly dependant upon temperature and pressure, unless otherwise shown, it is quoted at 20░C and normal pressures (760mb). The lightest gas is hydrogen at just 90mg/litre (0.00009g/cc) and is thus buoyant in air which has a density of approx 1200mg/litre, whereas the heaviest is radon, a radioactive noble gas, at 9700mg/litre. For solids, the least dense is lithium at 0.53g/cc and the densest, osmium and iridium, both at around 22.6g/cc. Lead, normally thought of as dense, is only 11.3g/cc and iron is just 7.8g/cc. This value can also be taken as the relative density, (relative to that of water at 1g/cc).
