- AST computers with on-board video have a problem with Microsoft's WinG graphics
  accelerator program. The problem seems to be limited to the 800x600x256 color video
  mode. A possible remedy may be to make use of generic Cirrus Video Drivers.

- Digispeech can not utilize digital sound and midi music together with Aviation
  Adventure. It can provide either one but not both.

- Norton Desktop for Windows is very memory intensive and degrades performance
  greatly. We recommend using Program Manager over any third party shell.

- In particular you should be sure to install Aviation Adventure under Program Manager
  rather than a third party shell such as Norton Desktop or TabWorks.

- Some Gravis Ultrasound Cards may experience a loss of the midi music in Aviation
  Adventure. Contact Knowledge Adventure Technical Support for new drivers at
  818-249-0212 or use your modem to call our BBS at 818-248-0166 (8, N,1).

- Aviation Adventure gives you the option to turn off music, auto-narration, and help
  bubble notes from an Options Panel at the Main Menu. Keeping these off will improve
  performance on machines with 4MB of RAM. The default settings for these machines
  will be music set to OFF, auto-narration and help bubble notes set to ON.

- To avoid volume spikes in music, set your midi and digitized sound to approximately the
  same levels using the mixer panel provided as part of your sound card software.

- For optimum performance, your Virtual Memory (Swap File) should be set to its
  maximum (at least 8MB). We recommend that you make your Swap File permanent.

- We recommend that you disable any Screen Saver software that your Windows may be
  running.
